Living in New York is among the best experiences in my life. The city life is reasonably varied in N.Y.C, and there is always something to do. Everything from museums to restaurants to the libraries are worth spending time in. The one thing I detest about NYC is having to move now and then.
Folk do not realize it if they have been born and bred in N.Y.C., but New York is really a massive city! It sometimes takes an hour for me to commute to work, going from one borough to another. That might appear like an ordinary commute to most in NYC, but back in my old town, my commutes rarely went above fifteen minutes. New York City is huge in comparison! And moving takes more time as a result.
When I was looking for some inexpensive movers NYC, I had to take account of the amount of time it takes go to from the Bronx to Manhattan. That pretty much means the movers won’t be cheap at all. Especially since Manhattan traffic is the worst traffic in the world.
If New York seems massive, it also seems crowded, and Manhattan is the densest part of the city. While moving my stuff, the NYC movers needed to be certain they didn’t block the street for too long, or else there are sizeable tickets and fees to pay.
But don’t get me wrong. I am not really here to whine about the moving. In fact, there is a reason explaining why I was moving, and that was to get nearer to my new job. New York City may be vexing to move into, but New York also has wonderful opportunities, which is why you’ve got to move from time to time to begin with! I wouldn’t trade this city for any other in the world.
